My drawings can range from anime to realistic, and this gallery goes all the way back to 2000. I used to draw a lot more anime but I've been experimenting with different styles while trying to find something that I'm comfortable with. I've tried painting, ink drawings, computer drawings, sculpture, and so far I'm still looking! For information about each drawing, hold your mouse over the thumbnail. The drawings with borders are new.

The Third Wheel: I tried out a different way of coloring, and at first it looked crappy but then it actually started to look good. This is an old sketch from Nov 2007 but I decided to color it in July 2008. I used primary colors and colored like I would with acrylic paint.

The Third Wheel: I tried out a different way of coloring, and at first it looked crappy but then it actually started to look good. This is an old sketch from Nov 2007 but I decided to color it in July 2008. I used primary colors and colored like I would with acrylic paint.Yamabuki Ogon: This was a birthday gift for my sister. I made this using photoshop. I was inspired by a dream I had, where in my dream I created a painting of a golden fish.St. Petersburg Cathedral: This is a famous Cathedral that I drew while I was in Russia, and I gave this as a gift to my dad's friend for showing us around when we visited Sunset: This was for an art class assignment, where we were supposed to work with colors, so I decided to do a random landscape...this was created using acrylic paintFather: This was the fourth drawing I was supposed to create for a college art scholarship, which I won but never used because I decided to go to a different school >_<;;Chair: I was supposed to draw a chair for a scholarship, and I made it all moody with charcoal because I was having a bad dayBackyard: I was supposed to draw my backyard for a scholarship competition so I sat on the couch and stared out the window while drawing for 2 hours straightCapitalism: This was a still life for a college scholarship, and I didn't think it turned out that bad, although a little crooked

Carnegie: This is a building I drew from a college visit in Oct 2007. I have a thing with college buildings. They are so awesome! :0 Pear: A painting for my 2007 IB Art class. I wanted to use the image of a pear throughout the piece. I learned a lot about colors and technique by the time I finished this.

2007-2000

University Hall: A building at Brown University that I drew while taking a class there over the summer. I was surprised that it turned out so detailed-lookingReincarnation: This was fun to make, although very unusual. I carved from a rubber stamp the design gradually, and made different print layers to create the funky color effect.Tootsie's Rose: After painting the giant cow, I decided to try painting something smaller. I painted my kitty from a photograph, but played around with the colors. I'm satisfied with the result, although I wish I could have fixed things here and thereLiberty, Revolution, and Cow Propaganda: The finished product of my cow entry. :) I painted this baby for Safeway's national contest, and even got a hundred bucks with a plaque out of it.Liberty, Revolution, and Cow Propaganda Entry Form: I drew this with no idea what to do, and I didn't think I'd win. But I did, and I got to paint a giant cow!

Warning, Viking Power: This is the t-shirt design I had in mind for the 07 high school swim season. We eventually used a simplified version of the back.Communist Party: A girl in my English class got a "4" balloon for her birthday, and we all thought it looked like a hammer and sicle...so I drew this!Camille: I recreated the portrait of "Camille", a character in "Therese Raquin" by Zola, for my IB English essay. Camille's portrait is supposed to be ugly, messy, and makes him look drowned (later in the book, he IS drowned!!)Lion King Open Mic: This is a poster I designed for our school's Open Mic show, but my English teacher didn't accept it because it was Disney.Triangle: Part of the themes challenge on deviant art. I thought that the hands turned out well :)Hiita the Fire Charmer: My friend asked me to draw him a girl from some random Yu Gi Oh card. xDAngel: A sketch of some random angel girl in pen. The hands are a bit too small, but I thought the rest was nice.

Innocence: An experiment with coloring, where I changed the opacity. I liked the softness of it...and yes, there's a lot of pink! :)Mandala: Second project in art class in 2006. We had to make some kind of mandala, and I had lots of fun making the shapes and textures.Gecko: One of the first art projects in my art class my junior year. Drew some leaves and had to have some kind of shape...so I chose the gecko! The Cossack: This is an activity I did in IB English my junior year, after we read the story "The Cossack" by Chekhov.Totoro Hug: I was really sad one day, and thought "I would really love a hug...from a totoro" so I drew one.Dragon: My friend requested a drawing of a dragon, so I drew one xPTake Care of My Heart: I decided to try coloring on the computer again. It turned out okay, but she turned out really stubby! >.< Nuuuu!

Android: The idea of drawing a girl with a piercing stare popped into my head one day. I like the hair, so long and dark. Pirate's Life For Me: I was bored and on an airplane, and I think I had just seen the Pirates of the Carribean movie, so I drew this. :PGypsy Dancer: Ironically, I drew this after my ex and I broke up. She's supposed to be like the Tokyo Mew Mew characters.Harry Potter: I am a Harry Potter fan, so I did this. Yay Harry Potter! The Spell of Reading: Either she looks like she's getting high off of her book, or that this drawing could be one of those cheesy posters that says "Reading Is Power!!"Dragon Charmer: I wanted to draw a girl with a flute, but lo and behold! I had drawn the flute the wrong way! So I had to mirror the image. Yay me!

Mermaids At Play: I just randomly drew some mermaids one day. I like how it turned out.Waiting: I love drawing dresses. But this was also drawn after I was turned down for a school dance my freshman year ;_; Woe to me.Centaurs Eat Chicken Burgers: I drew this my soph year during a band trip, and when I was trying to figure out what to do with it, this one guy says "Make it eat a chicken burger!" ...but I didn't.The New Girl At School: A sketch that turned creepy :DJanet the Pimp: I started drawing my friend, but then she grew some ears, and then she became a pimp...The Real Reason for the Lockdown: My soph year, our school had a lockdown because of a Myspace rumor. During that time, I drew my friend, and somehow she got teeth, an ax...and then my other friend's head is in the corner...I can't believe I drew this, but it brings back so many memories.Night Inquiries: I guess I wanted to experiment with coloring on my computer again? Inspired by looking at the moon one day. I love the moon. <3

Ipod Dancer: Egads, my coloring just failed. I can't believe I even used this for a layout once!Guitar Boy: Yes, he's a girly boy who likes to play the guitar. Or maybe he's just posing with it, who knows?Toru the Princess: I have a thing for dresses. So I drew a fancy dress. I like the shoes. Gah.Holly: A fan art I drew for a friend :]Witches!: Me as a witch. I used this for a layout a looong time ago, for Halloween. I actually liked that layout, it wasn't so bad. And the coloring on this wasn't so bad, either.Toru and the Band: My character singing in emo-looking clothes. I was thinking that I needed to draw a guy, but when I did he just looked girly! xDToru and the Watermelon: One of my characters, eating a watermelon. :) One of the only computer drawings I am satisfied with, though done a while ago.

Daughter Nature: A character I had in mind for a comic I was going to do, but never did finish. Yes, she is very green, indeed. Inspired by a beautiful flute version of "Greensleeves".Wish Me Luck! : Some characters from a comic I was going to draw for the RSM contest, but didn't xP now the comic is in the "unfinished" comics sectionA Different Kind of Hero: This weird picture was created for a school contest. The only thing I like about it is the shark.Char's Rose: I drew this while listening to the Phantom of the Opera. My dog, Char, is in the background. He likes to eat bees (??) so I drew some. I really like how the rose turned out.Me: It's yours truly from a while back.Kisyusha: This is my cat, "Kisyusha", which kind of means "little kitty" in Russian. I drew this for my mom's birthday.Snow Angels: An old drawing I used for a layout...relates to snow, obviously

Cardcaptor Sakura the Bunny: A drawing a did for a contest.Stars: I love the night sky. I was inspired by looking up one day and seeing how vast and beautiful the sky looked at night.Scarborough Fair: I was inspired by the flute version of "Scarborough Fair" (which I still can't spell, durnit!), and eventually used this picture for a layout.Miss Urd: "Miss Urd" from Oh My Goddess! that I drew from a manga. I really liked how the hair turned out.Plum: One of the characters from the manga "Chobits". I just thought that Plum was so cute. :)Kisusha and Tsukiro: Two of my characters from my past website. Yes, they are very strangely colored.Glukoza: This is a popular musician in Russia. This pic is quite old. I redrew her from the cover of her cd, "Glukoza Nostra".

Tiger Girl: One of the first anime drawings I ever did. This is reaaally old. I don't even know what anime this is from, because the magazine it came from was all in Japanese (and I didn't know how to speak it back then).
